Event: Christmas in July for Children's Hospital!!!!





We have been speaking with Children's Hospital this week to see if they have any immediate needs. The hospital is in desperate need of laundry detergent and any travel size personal hygiene items such as shampoo. conditioner, razors, deodorant, etc. These items are for the parents that get to the hospital and then their child is admitted and they didn't bring any of these items with them. The hospital stated they get lots of donations at Christmas and it's about now that they run out, so we have decided to do this in July every year. I have a list of items below that we are going to take. The foundation will purchase a large amount, but we are asking anyone who would like to help with the donations to please do so. Thanks so much.
 
Items Needed:
 
Adult Size PJ pants (Size XS - XL) for teens to wear under their gowns going for tests.

Cases of water or any drinks for the parents and kids admitted.
Individual bags of snacks for parents and kids in hospital so they do not have to buy these

Fresh fruit

Teen Magazines

Any Amount Wal-Mart gift cards or Gas cards to give to families in need
(They have plenty of I-Tunes gift cards)

DVDs for the kids in hospital (they have DVD players in every room now)

Laundry Detergent (any size)

Travel size items (listed in message above)

Large bags of snacks (chips.etc for the parent room)

Nuts
 
Just think of anything you would need and may not have the money to buy.
